Training Started in Rajshahi
Role
of Radio Unlimited in Creating Public Opinion
Rajshahi,

Radio
can play very effective and direct role in building
public opinion and creating public awareness on
different significant issues in such developing
countries like Bangladesh.
 Speakers
said it on the opening day of weeklong training workshop
on Radio Talk Show Production held in the conference
room of CCD Bangladesh in Rajshahi today. Mass
communication oriented development organization CCD
Bangladesh with the support of British Council and
Connecting Futures arranged this training workshop for
the first time in Rajshahi. 18 resource students of
different higher educational institutions including
Rajshahi University (RU) are taking part in the training
workshop. All the trainees are members of Bangladesh
Advanced Students Alliance (BASA), students' wing of CCD
Bangladesh.
Australian
Youth Ambassador for Development (AYAD) and Program
Advisor of CCD Bangladesh Laura Martine Bos conducted
technical sessions in the workshop. Program Coordinator
of CCD Bangladesh A H M Abdul Hai and Program Organizer
Abu Tayeb Shah facilitated the sessions in the workshop.
The participants in the training will take part actively
in producing different awareness programs including
radio talk show on HIV/AIDS later on.
